WONderful! It looks sooooooo smooth and cold to the touch. Pencilwork? Simply amazing. Out of curiosity, how long did this take, and did you do it in one sitting?

Don't know how to critique this - everything looks so perfect. The horizon (or tabletop) looks a tiny bit crooked on the right side, but the important parts (the texture and perspective aspects) are right on. It really is a very cool effect.

Sorry for the late reply.

This piece probably took around 8 hours? I did not do it in one sitting but over many. I also finished it off without the vase or cloth, from memory.

It has been said before it seems: Escher. Escher did a comparable pencilwork, called "Sphere". The difference between this and that is that you aren't so proud of yourself to fully show your face. This difference makes your work mysterious (which is a plus).

Another plus is the change is the vase's form. What I mean is that Escher's sphere is just an orb (round). While your vase has more than one form.

You chose for a great difficulty: the table cloth. But you handled it supurbly!

Great, nice and fascinating!
